Crystal and her husband, James, opened Sunflower Medical Clinic in September, 2022.  She attended Marysville High School, then graduated from Manhattan Area Technical School in 2014 with a Associate Degree in Nursing, then obtained a Bachelors in Nursing Degree from Walden University in 2016. She practiced as a Registered Nurse for five years at Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville and Pediatric Associates in Manhattan  before receiving her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2018. Crystal is Board Certified in Family Medicine with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified as a Medical Examiner for FMSCA.

In Crystals practice, she has emphasis on treating the individual as a whole rather than focusing on an illness or diagnosis. Therefore, she is willing to work with other healthcare providers and specialists to provide the upmost care to her patients and their needs. She treats her patients with compassionate, personal, and professional care. In Crystal's free time she enjoys traveling, sitting on the beach, and spending time with her family.

James Leis, owner of Sunflower Medical Clinic, can be seen helping in the clinic from time to time. He has obtained a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and has 10+ years of Leadership and Management experience.  James is a Lieutenant for the Marysville Police Department.   James has great personal skills, detailed oriented, and will ensure your concerns are met within a timely manner.  

Lukas Leis is the friendly face who will greet you when you first enter the clinic from time to time. He is either at the front desk or he is helping with any technical difficulties we experience. He is very helpful, compassionate, and has huge dreams for his future.  ​Lukas is a 10th grade home schooled student and is also currently enrolled at Highland Community College.  He has future goals of starting his own I.T. business upon Graduation.​ ​

Brianna is our Certified Medical Assistant. She has worked in the healthcare field for 20 years.  She has held positions as a CNA, CMA, Home Health Aide, she currently volunteers on the Waterville Ambulance as an EMT, and is also in school to be come a Certified Medical Assistant. She is from Waterville where she resides with her significant other and 3 children.  She loves horseback riding, traveling with family, lake time, and dreams to one day travel to Scotland and Ireland.

Stephanie Musil is a R.N. at Sunflower Medical Clinic.  Stephanie has been involved in the medical field since 2006, and positions held have been CNA, CMA, LPN, and at last an RN!  She has experience in Geriatrics, Labor and Delivery, Med/Surg in the hospital setting, and in Clinic.  She has 2 sons, a bonus daughter, and a grand daughter! She loves spending her free time with her boyfriend, children, and extended family; when she is not doing that she loves to travel, read, and is an avid collector of plants!
